How we can help.

Early intervention addressing speech and language concerns, can help your child overcome obstacles and build a solid foundation for future growth.

Assessments

Assessments are conducted by a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the purpose of identifying the severity of your child’s speech and language delay and to assist in selecting appropriate treatment goals. Assessments are completed in your child’s dominant language and are available in both French and English languages. You will receive a written assessment report, including formal assessment results, informal observations, background information, and recommendations, at an additional cost.

Therapy

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will create a customized therapy plan based on the results of the assessment. Intervention will target specific areas of concern using evidence-based methods and will be adapted to suit your child’s needs and interests. Therapy may be conducted by the SLP or a Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA), and may take place in-office, virtually, or at the child's school.

Consultations

With consent from parents and/or caregivers, the Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) and Communicative Disorders Assistants (CDA) are happy to collaborate with teachers and school staff to better understand your child’s communication needs and to help support your child in various environments. We can recommend effective strategies, books, apps, games, and other materials that align with your child’s needs and interests.
