Hello, I’m Shawna
Speech and Language Pathologist
Shawna Sterner, M.Sc.S., Reg. CASLPO
Hello! I’m Shawna, the proud owner of Speech and Language Solutions. I am a dedicated bilingual Northerner who is passionate about working with children. My interests extend to the great outdoors, where I find joy in camping, fishing, and hunting. Before discovering my passion for helping children with speech and language delays, I spent a significant amount of time coaching gymnastics.
In 2017, I graduated from Laurentian University with a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and instantly started my career. I specialize in assessing and treating speech sound disorders, receptive and expressive language delays, and social communication disorders. Prior to establishing my private practice, I honed my skills in a school setting, conducting assessments, providing therapy, and consulting with educators. My approach is centered on evidence-based procedures that are engaging, effective, and tailored to the unique needs and interests of each of my clients.
